Lunch birthday celebration with friends. Food and wine were both amazing and service was outstanding.

All dishes were well prepared, hot and very tasty. Server was very kind and made good recommendations. A very nice dinner on a rainy night in Cascais.

Excellent sushi. We&#39;ve been in Cascais for a week and have been back 3 times. It has a very nice ambiance especially at night. The service is great and the sushi is really good.

Superb service, gorgeous fresh and cleaned mussels. Amazing gin! Beautiful setting. Lovely place. Even the street is pretty outside. The taste of absolutely everything was spot on. I slurped every last drop of the mussel broth!

WOW!!! The food is super good and the prices are super reasonable. The restaurant is really tiny, only a few tables close to one another. The restaurant is a bit further than the others on the street but we&rsquo;re really glad we made the reservation. It really feels like a traditional restaurant. I would really recommend to try it if you want to taste traditional food. We had the mussels, octopus and the sea bass (we had more than enough for only 2 people but it was so food we finished it all!!)

Debora and Fred take pride in the food they serve. Food was fresh and very tasty. Service friendly with good recommendations. The only thing I found as a negative was their credit card machine didn&rsquo;t work. First time that has happened to us in Europe EVER! I don&rsquo;t carry around more than a few Euro&rsquo;s nor do I carry a debit card, keep that in the room safe at the hotel. Fred was nice enough to understand I didn&rsquo;t have the funds to pay so we agreed that I would come back the next evening to pay my bill in cash. I did, so all is square. Not sure if this was a one off for them, or how difficult it is to get the credit card machine repaired/replaced but you might want to call before going to see if it is cash only. Great place, great owners, just a hassle paying.

Once again, we had an excellent meal and service at Visconde da Luz. We often bring visitors there, and to a person they are delighted by both the quality of the food, and the outstanding hospitality that the staff consistently brings to its guests. Their cataplana is magnificent, truly world class. I guarantee that you&rsquo;ll want to return after having dined there once.

We had a fantastic lunch yesterday!  First time after years of saying we were going to try it.  Am&ecirc;ijoas and robalo were perfectly prepared as you would expect.  Service by Marco was also perfect.  Unexpected was the dessert wine list with many old bottles of vintage and colheita ports.

This restaurant was highly recommended by good friends whose taste we trust. We visited Cascais, and made straight for the restaurant specifically for the sea bass baked in sea salt. It was not only the best baked fish I have ever had (and that is saying a lot), the fish was fluffy and moist, but the service and ambiance were amazing. Classically Portuguese!
